OUR QC FRAMEWORK
Multi-Stage Quality Control from Factory Floor to Final Shipment
A systematic, six-stage inspection protocol designed to catch defects at every production milestone — before they compound into costly rework or customer returns.
Factory Audits & Supplier Vetting
Before a single unit is produced, we audit the factory floor. Equipment calibration checks, workforce capability assessment, raw material sourcing verification, and social compliance review. Only facilities meeting our audit threshold enter your supply chain.
Pre-Production Reality Check
Raw material verification against spec sheets. Component quality sampling before assembly begins. Production line readiness assessment. We confirm the factory actually has the right materials and tooling calibrated — not just what they told you over WeChat.
The Golden Sample Approval
One perfect unit becomes your quality benchmark. We document every dimension, material property, and cosmetic detail — then lock it as the reference standard. No bulk production begins until you approve the golden sample. Shipments that don't match it don't ship.
In-Production Monitoring (IPC + DUPRO)
QC inspectors embedded during active production runs. Initial Production Check at 10-20% completion catches systemic issues early. During Production inspection at 40-60% verifies corrective actions were implemented. We don't wait until the container is loaded to find problems.
Pre-Shipment Final Inspection (CLC)
Final random sampling per AQL 1.5 standard when production is 100% complete and 80%+ packed. Every unit is checked against the golden sample, spec sheet, packaging requirements, and labeling accuracy. Container loading supervised to prevent last-minute substitutions.
Customized Lab Testing & Certification
FCC, CE, RoHS, REACH, ASTM, EN71, CPSIA — whatever your market requires. We coordinate with ISO 17025-accredited labs, manage sample submission, and deliver certified reports. Moisture content, GSM verification, firmware flashing, and functional testing included.
THE GOLDEN SAMPLE
One Perfect Unit. One Non-Negotiable Standard.
Before mass production starts, we lock one approved sample as the absolute quality benchmark. Every unit in the production run is measured against it — not against the factory's shifting definition of "acceptable."
HOW IT WORKS
From Factory Floor to Final Shipment in 5 Checkpoints
Every order passes through five mandatory checkpoints before container sealing. No exceptions, no skipped steps, no assumptions.
01
Factory Audit & Supplier Vetting
Comprehensive on-site evaluation before any production commitment. We verify production capacity, quality management systems, equipment maintenance records, workforce stability, and raw material supply chains.
- ISO certification and quality system audit
- Production line capacity and equipment verification
- Raw material supply chain traceability review
- Workforce skill assessment and stability analysis
- Social compliance and workplace safety inspection
02
Pre-Production Sample Verification
Raw material and component inspection before mass production. Every material batch is checked against your approved spec sheet. Component tolerances verified with calibrated instruments — not factory self-reporting.
- Raw material certification and batch testing
- Component dimensional tolerance verification
- Tooling and mold calibration confirmation
- Production line setup and workflow review
03
Golden Sample & Standards Lock
One approved sample becomes the absolute reference. Every dimension, color, material, finish, and function is documented. This is the non-negotiable standard every unit in the production run must match.
- Full dimensional and cosmetic inspection
- Material composition and finish verification
- Functional testing per product specification
- Photographic documentation of all reference points
- Signed approval required before production launch
04
In-Production Control (IPC + DUPRO)
Embedded inspection during active production runs. Initial check at 10-20% catches systemic defects before they propagate. Mid-production check at 40-60% validates corrective actions are working.
- IPC at 10-20%: catch pattern defects early
- DUPRO at 40-60%: verify corrections implemented
- Real-time defect categorization and root cause ID
- Corrective action tracking with factory sign-off
- Photo and video evidence for every finding
05
Pre-Shipment Inspection & Container Sealing
Final AQL 1.5 random sampling when 100% of production is complete and 80%+ is packed. Every checked unit measured against golden sample, spec sheet, and packaging requirements. Container loading supervised and sealed.
- Random sampling per AQL 1.5 (normal, level II)
- Appearance, workmanship, function, and dimension checks
- Packaging integrity, labeling accuracy, barcode scan test
- Carton drop test and shipping worthiness assessment
- Container loading supervision and seal verification
Stop Worrying About Defective Shipments
A container arriving with 15% defect rate right before Q4 doesn't just cost you returns — it destroys your seller metrics, triggers negative reviews, and kills your ranking. We prevent that with five mandatory checkpoints, AQL 1.5 standard enforcement, and real-time inspection visibility. Get your free QC plan and know exactly what's in every container before it ships.
THE DIFFERENCE
LeelineGroup QC vs. Factory Self-Inspection
Factories will always tell you the quality is fine. Our job is to verify — independently, objectively, and with documented evidence you can see in real time.
Inspection Independence
Reporting Detail
Inspection Timing
Standards Enforcement
Corrective Action
Container Integrity
| Sourcing Challenge | LeelineGroup | Traditional Approach |
|---|---|---|
| Inspection Independence | Third-party inspectors working for you — not the factory. No conflicts, no compromises, no unspoken agreements. | Factory QC staff report to factory management. Defects that might delay shipment get reclassified or omitted. |
| Reporting Detail | Timestamped photos, video evidence, measurement data, defect categorization by severity — all in a structured digital report. | A WeChat message saying "quality is good" with 3 blurry photos — or a one-page PDF with no actionable data. |
| Inspection Timing | Multi-point inspection: raw materials → pre-production → in-production → pre-shipment → container loading. 5 checkpoints, not 1. | Factory does one end-of-line check when production is already complete. Too late to fix anything without weeks of delay. |
| Standards Enforcement | AQL 1.5 standard enforced with calibrated instruments. Golden sample locked as reference. Deviations flagged, not ignored. | Factory decides what's "acceptable." Your "minor scratches" become their "industry standard variation." |
| Corrective Action | Defects found → root cause identified → corrective action implemented → verified in next checkpoint. Closed loop, not open wound. | Defect reported → factory promises to fix it → you hope for the best → same defect appears in next shipment. |
| Container Integrity | Container loading supervised on-site. Carton count verified, container sealed, seal number documented. Last-mile integrity. | You trust the factory loaded what they said they did. Discrepancies discovered 4-6 weeks later when container arrives. |
WHY LEELINEGROUP QC
What Makes Our Quality Control Different
Total Operational Transparency
Real-time digital dashboard. Inspection results, defect photos, corrective action status, and production progress — visible to you the moment our inspectors record them. No waiting for end-of-week summaries.
Localized On-Site Expertise
Bilingual inspectors who live in China's manufacturing hubs. They speak the factory's language, understand local production culture, and catch shortcuts that remote audits miss.
Granular Inspection Reports
Each report includes timestamped photos, annotated defect images, dimensional measurement data, AQL sampling tables, material test results, and video walkthroughs — not a 3-line summary.
Corrective Action Plans
Defects aren't just listed — they come with root cause analysis, factory-side correction requirements, verification timelines, and photographic proof of resolution. Tracked until closed.
Standing on Your Side
We work for you — not the factory. Every finding is documented honestly. If a shipment doesn't pass, we tell you. If the factory pushes back, we push harder. Your brand equity is our only priority.
Rapid Issue Resolution
Same-day defect alerts, 24-hour root cause reports, 48-hour corrective action proposals. Distance isn't an excuse for delays when our team is physically on the factory floor.
Sourcing Platform Coverage
Integrated with Every Major Sourcing Platform
We inspect products sourced from every major Chinese supplier platform — plus offline factory networks most independent inspectors never audit.
CLIENT RESULTS
Quality That Speaks for Itself
“We were losing thousands on defective shipments before LeelineGroup's QC team stepped in. Their pre-shipment inspections caught issues with 30% of a batch — packaging that would have been destroyed by humidity during transit. They identified the root cause, got the factory to rework it, and we haven't had a quality-related return since.”
Marcus Chen
Operations Director, Home Goods Brand | USA
“Their in-production monitoring caught a systemic stitching defect at 15% completion. Without that checkpoint, we would have had 12,000 defective units by the time the container arrived. Instead, the factory corrected the line setup and production resumed within 48 hours. The reports with timestamped photos gave us complete confidence.”
Sarah Lindström
Quality Manager, Apparel Brand | Sweden
“Amazon FBA compliance was our biggest headache. LeelineGroup's inspectors know exactly what Amazon's receiving centers flag — carton weight discrepancies, barcode scannability, poly bag suffocation warnings. They caught labeling errors that would have gotten our shipment quarantined. Saved us thousands in FBA rejection fees.”
Raj Patel
Founder, Amazon FBA Brand | UK
“We needed FCC and CE certification for a consumer electronics launch. Their team handled everything — sample submission to accredited labs, documentation, and even got the factory to add ESD protection to the assembly line after an audit finding. We launched on schedule with full compliance documentation.”
Yuki Tanaka
Product Director, Consumer Electronics | Japan
FAQ
Common Questions About Quality Control in China
What is AQL 1.5, and how do you use it?
AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) 1.5 is an international sampling standard that determines how many units from a batch must be inspected and what defect rate is acceptable. At AQL 1.5, Level II normal inspection, for a batch of 1,000 units, we randomly sample 80 units. If 3 or fewer units have major defects, the batch passes. If 4 or more fail, the entire batch is rejected. We use AQL tables for every inspection and include the sampling methodology in every report — so you always know exactly what was checked and what the results mean.
Do you specialize in Amazon FBA and e-commerce compliance?
Yes — Amazon FBA receiving requirements are built into every inspection checklist. We verify carton dimensions and weight (within Amazon's tolerance), FNSKU barcode scannability (not just visual check — we scan every barcode), poly bag suffocation warning labels (correct size, correct placement), shipment labeling accuracy, and carton integrity for transit durability. Our inspectors know what triggers FBA rejection fees and inbound performance issues — and we check for all of it.
Does the inspection report include video footage?
Every report includes timestamped photos as standard. For critical findings, we include video walkthroughs showing the defect, the inspection context, and the corrective action being taken. Video is particularly valuable for functional testing — you can see motors running, electronics powering on, seams being stress-tested — not just read about it. We also offer optional live video inspection sessions where you can direct our inspector on the factory floor in real time via video call.
What happens if defects are found during inspection?
Defects are categorized into three severity levels: critical (safety hazard, zero tolerance), major (product unusable or unsellable), and minor (cosmetic variation within tolerance). For any batch that fails AQL: we immediately issue a corrective action report to the factory specifying exact rework requirements, set a re-inspection timeline, and supervise the rework process. If the factory cannot or will not correct the defects, we recommend shipment hold and work with you to evaluate alternatives — including supplier replacement. You never receive a shipment that failed inspection.
Can you handle specialized testing (moisture, GSM, firmware)?
Yes. Beyond standard visual and dimensional inspection, we coordinate specialized testing through ISO 17025-accredited laboratories. This includes: moisture content testing (wood products, textiles), GSM/fabric weight verification, color fastness and crocking tests, heavy metals and restricted substances (RoHS, REACH), electrical safety testing (FCC, CE, UL), firmware version verification and functional testing, drop tests and transit durability simulation, and food-contact material safety testing. We manage sample submission, track results, and deliver certified lab reports.
